Inspiration

I've included below some mixed media to fuel the stoke, get your ass out the door, and laugh when your body tells you to stop.

What motivates you? Where do you look for inspiration when motivation is flagging? Please share in the comments and I'll add them to the post! I'm as much curious myself as interested in having this be a spot for anyone to find their "kick in the ass" for the day!

"Because I don't want to say, "I wish." I want to say, "Damn. That was awesome.""
Duct Tape then Beer, production company of Fitz Cahall, does some damn good work.

A poem. Invictus, by William Ernest Henley. A true classic.

Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll.
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

Reel Rock 2010 Trailer... Ueli Steck is the man. And the soundtrack, Welcome Home by Radical Face, is equally inspiring.

MOVE from Arc'teryx
"A wiser man once said, "an object in motion tends to stay in motion. An object at rest tends to stay at rest.""  Get moving!

...and relatedly, the blog post by Will Gadd that inspired the video:
